About SpinPick
SpinPick is a free spinner wheel for picking a random name, prize, or option — built for classrooms, giveaways, and everyday decisions.
What it does
Type or paste your entries — names, prizes, options, anything — one per line, and SpinPick draws them as equal slices of a wheel. Click SPIN (or press the space bar), and the wheel picks one entry at random. There's a second wheel, the Yes or No wheel, for quick either/or decisions.
How the randomness works
Each spin uses your browser's built-in random number generator to choose a stopping angle, and every entry occupies an exactly equal slice of the wheel — so no name, prize, or option has better odds than any other, regardless of the order you typed them in or how many times you've spun before.
What SpinPick stores
Nothing you type is sent to a server. Your current entries and any lists you choose to save are kept only in your own browser's local storage, so they'll still be there next time you open SpinPick on the same device — and they disappear if you clear your browser's site data. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture, including the cookies used by ads and analytics.
What SpinPick doesn't do
- No accounts, no signup, no login
- No server-side database of names or lists
- No selling or sharing of anything you type
How it's funded
SpinPick is free to use. It's supported by Google AdSense advertising, which keeps the site running without a paywall or usage limits. Ads never influence which entry wins a spin — the outcome is decided purely by the wheel's geometry and your browser's random number generator.
